Morning Pick-up in Reykjavík

Your journey begins in Reykjavik, where you'll be picked up before heading inland through ever-changing landscapes. The drive itself is an adventure, revealing the raw beauty and isolation that make Iceland's highlands so special.

Hella Stop

We'll arrive in Hella around 8:20 AM for a brief but important stop. This is your chance to use the facilities, grab a coffee, or make any last-minute purchases of food or drinks. Our doors will open for passenger check-in at 08:30-08:40 AM, and we'll officially depart from Hella at 08:45 AM.

Upon reaching the Kerlingarfjoll region, you'll enter a world shaped by powerful geological forces. Nestled between glaciers and volcanic mountains, this remarkable area is renowned for its dramatic contrasts. Snowfields cling to colorful mountain slopes, while geothermal activity sends steam rising from the earth, creating an atmosphere that feels almost otherworldly.

Return to Hella Drop-off

We will arrive back in Hella around 5:25 PM. Some guests will conclude their tour here. We'll make another brief stop for a toilet break and any final optional food purchases before departing for Reykjavík at 5:40 PM.

As the day draws to a close, sit back and enjoy the scenic drive back to Reykjavik, reflecting on a day spent exploring one of Iceland's hidden gems.
